Music is emotion in acoustic waves. It touches people like no other medium. The BRAX brand was born with the idea to reproduce this audio experience as accurate and realistic as possible. Nothing shall stand in the way of pure musical enjoyment. Not even the automobile interior with its less than ideal acoustic conditions. Based on this vision, Audiotec Fischer creates legendary high-end hi-fi components for automotive applications since 1990. There is only one goal: absolutely uncompromising sound.

German high-end audio quality in true perfection
In order to assure maximum sound quality, all BRAX components are exclusively developed in Germany and manufactured with precise craftmanship. Only the finest components are used, all of which are manually selected and need to pass the strictest quality control. Audiotec Fischer is the only manufacturer of audiophile car hifi products who performs the complex procedure of hand selecting the power transistors. it is a pure pursuit of perfection. Using self-developed measureing devices, all transistors are divided into more than 300 classes and paired with one another. The statement “Made in Germany” is therefore not a marketing phrase, but a real promise.

Processor | DSP & aMPLIFIERS
Due to the restrictive installation and acoustic preconditions, audiophile music reproduction in vehicles is a true challenge. Only in combination with a digital signal processor, short DSP, is it possible to exploit all components and possibilities to the maximum. The BRAX DSP for sure is the most advanced signal processor which sets absolute standards in terms of sound quality and functionality. Three extremely powerful audio processors allow a native sampling frequency of 192 kHz with full 32-bit resolution and 80 kHz audio bandwidth throughout the entire signal path. High-Res audio files are reproduced perfectly down to every single detail and thus doubtlessly deserve the attribute “high-end high-fidelity”. In combination with our BRAX MATRIX amplifiers, a completely digital signal chain is possible. Negative influences due to unnecessary signal conversions can thus be eliminated.
Is it possible to make the best car audio amplifier worldwide even better? This was really a challenge for our engineers when they started the development of the MX4 PRO. When designing a BRAX product it is essential to reconsider and optimize every single detail again and again, even if it seems to be less significant at first sight. From our understanding this is the one and only approach how to shift the limits โ acoustically and technically โ further and further. Finally we are absolutely convinced that the MX4 PRO redefines the benchmark for amplifiers once again. This masterpiece is the perfect symbiosis of state-of-the-art components and ingenious technological improvements without neglecting the heritage and the tradition of the brand that BRAX is famous for.
As the only manufacturer we still take it for granted to manually select power transistors for the production of each BRAX amplifier โ and it is no secret that the necessary instruments and tools for this selection procedure are in-house developments. This one-of-a-kind process not only assures lowest possible serial tolerances but as well unrivalled measurement and power data. A significant proportion for the overall performance is based on the extensive effort that is made for the power supply of all modules inside our amplifiers. Separate and stabilized supply voltages for each two channels warrant perfect conditions for every amplifier stage. The ultra-low ESR electrolytic capacitors (specially made for Audiotec Fischer) are meanwhile as legendary as our encapsulated toroid power transformers that come up with more than 1,800 watts power supply output just like that. A completely revised PCB design with four massive copper layers in total assures maximum current flow โ so it is no wonder that the MX4 PRO with its mere 4 x 300 RMS into 4/2/1 Ohms delivers more power to the speaker terminals than ever before. But that’s not enough โ the MX4 PRO is as well a paradigm for bridging the gap between traditional amplifier technology and the digital era.ย We have made an unparalleled effort just for the volume control of the digital inputs. As a novelty in the car audio segment the volume adjustment in combination with the BRAX DSP takes place just before the output stages that drive the speakers – needless to say that this happens in the analog domain without sacrificing any signal resolution. The BRAX DSP embeds the volume information in the digital SPDIF data stream which then is decoded inside the MX4 PRO.
This aspect alone proves the striving of our engineers for pure perfection โ and please rest assured that this meticulousness is set to continue throughout the entire production process. Each single amplifier is custom-made on demand and its respective serial number is recorded in our data-base. Therefore every BRAX MX4 PRO is a precious unique product that rightly deserves the title โhigh-end made in Germanyโ.

These reference speakers in our C-series raise the bar to a new level of fantastic sound quality. The legendary sisal woofer cones are equipped with an additional structural damping layer made of an elastomer, which again improves the acoustic properties of the driver. The tweeter enclosure also underwent a complete overhaul. Anyone who wants to operate these loudspeakers as fully active speakers (e.g. using our new digital signal processors) can put together the system of their choice by combining the individual components. Like the loudspeaker systems, the frequency crossovers of the components systems have also been optimized even further. Made up of the finest components, they offer, in addition to the adjustment of the tweeter level, the option of connecting a second woofer for each channel without any change in the crossover frequencies. The so-called โdouble woofer modeโ provides for additional pressure in the frequency range where the bass will really kick.

We were committed to create extraordinary speakers in terms of sound performance while maintaining highly-acclaimed shapes and looks of the series.ย
We have to admit without any doubt that the final result is amazing and even exceeds our expectations.ย
We do believe that the Platinum v.3 speakers are the best sounding loudspeakers in their price level and far beyond.
There are only a few components which the newest Platinum v.3 series shares with the previous edition namely the shapes of TLIE enclosures, BOM bassreflex ports, TTP Tweeter Top Plate and speaker terminals.ย
All other components are totally new or significantly upgraded.
As always we focused mostly on intensive listening tests and sound adjustments rather than on creating perfect specifications on paper because music and generally sound is about emotions, feelings and passion. Not only specialists were involved in the process but all of us at TAGA Harmony because we share the same love for the perfect sound.
Our Platinum v.3 slogan โBorn in Europe โ Crafted for the Worldโ is a very serious commitment and we treat it that way. That is why our Polish designer and one of the best and well-known audio reviewers Mr. Arek Ogrodnik personally tuned each model in the series. To honor his great craftsmanship and to emphasize a unique character of this project we named the crossovers in the Platinum v.3 series as โOgrodnik Crossoversโ.
It is not easy to write about the sound performance as it is difficult to write about emotions โ we always encourage to listen to and feel the sound by yourself. But if we are to say a few words about the Platinum v.3 character it would be: deep, perfectly controlled and defined bass, smooth and rich midrange and appealing, detailed and crystal clear highs as well as very open and airy soundstage. Of course these are only words but there is real passion, feelings and love for music behind the Platinum v.3 โ we do love them and crafted them with love and we believe you will share the same!
